Rural Intern Training Allowance
The Rural Training Allowance (RTA) provides financial support to assist intern pharmacists from rural and remote areas to access compulsory intern training program activities. Visit the Pharmacy Programs Administrator website to apply!
Course Dates
The College ITP offers a flexible course structure with written components that can be completed at your own pace. Enrolments are open year round.
- FEBRUARY INTAKE – Commences 1st week of February annually
- MID-YEAR INTAKE – Commences 1st week of August annually
Enrolment Conditions
Successful enrolment in the College Intern Training Program provides access to the Program for two years from the course commencement date. Time required to complete the program beyond this is available via an extension with associated fee.
Failure to show progression during the course may result in an intern being exited from the Program at the two year mark. Interns will be contacted before this time to allow progression to be demonstrated. If no contact is received from the intern and no progress is demonstrated, the intern will be considered to have withdrawn from the Program. Withdrawal does not exclude an intern from applying to enrol in the program at a later date.
