Express Pharmacy Mackay is a locally owned and owner-operated pharmacy located inside a health hub with a strong focus on providing professional services working with a team of professionals including local doctors, exercise physiologist, speech pathologist, mental health nurse, nurse practitioner etc. Our intern will be trained directly by the owner (preceptor) to master all the professional services we offer. These include immunisations, dose administration aid (webster packs and sachets), long acting buprenorphine injection (LAIB), blood pressure and glucose checks, Medschecks, simple compounding, medicinal cannabis, services to aged care facilities and much more. You will be exposed to all areas of community pharmacy practice, gaining both clinical skills and business skills, from your preceptor who is actively involved in new emerging spaces such as LAIB, pharmacist prescribing, pharmacist full scope of practice etc.

As the intern pharmacist at Allens Pharmacy Goondiwindi, there will be a variety of duties in both the dispensary and front of shop, as well as learning key business responsibilities.
