• You will be responsible and accountable for efficient and accurate provision of medicine and healthcare advice and support to all customers
• You will be trained with face to face sessions covering clinical pharmacy and retail management and participate the Guild Intern Training Program
• Professional Development with experience, knowledgeable and approachable Preceptors
• Basic responsibilities:
o Assisting with scripts in/out and accurate dispensing
o Ordering and unpacking Dispensary stock
o Counselling patients on medications
o Provide support and assistance to S2/S3 medications and other areas
o Assist in the preparation of Dose Administration Aid packs
o Provide professional services ie Clinical Intervention and Medscheck
o Involves in the preparation of COVID and Flu vaccinations
• Skills and Experience:
o Strong communication skills
o Interest in professional services
o Passion for Pharmacy

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern Pharmacist to work in the dispensary of our pharmacy in Shepparton. You will be experience every aspect of the pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:
Current 4th Year Pharmacy student

Main duties include:

Learning and assisting the registered pharmacist in providing pharmacy services
Dispensing medication and counselling patients under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
Other dispensary duties such as claiming and maintaining dispensary stock
Promoting and supporting in-store marketing initiatives
Complying with QCPP requirements and procedures
Attending internal and external training

The applicant must have:
Previous experience in community pharmacy in Australia or a bachelor’s degree studied in Australia
Energetic customer service, empathetic and understanding
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work individually and within a team
Ability to multi-task
Great attention to detail
Keen interest in professional services
