Intern Positions

The position is for a new pharmacy graduate to gain hands-on experience in dispensing, counseling, customer-care, vaccination, dose administration aid and other services rendered by pharmacist.
Successful applicant will be supervised by experienced pharmacist / preceptor.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern Pharmacist to work in the dispensary of our pharmacy in Shepparton. You will be experience every aspect of the pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:
Current 4th Year Pharmacy student

Main duties include:

Learning and assisting the registered pharmacist in providing pharmacy services
Dispensing medication and counselling patients under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
Other dispensary duties such as claiming and maintaining dispensary stock
Promoting and supporting in-store marketing initiatives
Complying with QCPP requirements and procedures
Attending internal and external training

The applicant must have:
Previous experience in community pharmacy in Australia or a bachelor’s degree studied in Australia
Energetic customer service, empathetic and understanding
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work individually and within a team
Ability to multi-task
Great attention to detail
Keen interest in professional services
