Role:

Duties will include:
Providing exceptional customer service with holistic approach
Assisting the pharmacist in dispensary
Stock unpacking of dispensary lines with Dispensing Robot
Providing appropriate information and advice to customers on OTC medicines
Webster packing
Assisting with pharmacy documentation

An intern position is available at Oran Park at a new pharmacy in early 2024.
Prior to this the intern may commence training at one of our other two pharmacies in south west Sydney.

All duties relating to pharmacy internship. The position will involve intensive training in all aspects of community pharmacy including non-sterile and sterile compounding. Mandarin speaking beneficial but not essential.
As the intern pharmacist you will participate in a variety of activities in the dispensary. Someone with good communication skills who works well within a group will make a great addition to this team. Some of the responsibilities of the intern pharmacist include:
– Assisting with all aspects of the dispensary, taking scripts in, dispensing and counselling customers about medications (both prescription and OTC)
– Ordering and unpacking dispensary stock
– Stock management
– Opioid treatment program
– Compounding
A successful candidate will possess the following skills:
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
– Ability to work well in a team
– An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the pharmacy
– Ability to follow procedures

Pharmacist intern program provided in very diverse community pharmacy leading to a permanent pharmacist position
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern pharmacist to support a pharmacist on Mondays only, between 10am-5pm. We can offer more hours during the week if required. It would be ideal if the intern pharmacist can vaccinate. We dispense approx. 200 to 250 scripts per day.
