We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Intern Pharmacist to join our team in 2025!

Capital Chemist Braidwood is a community pharmacy located in Braidwood, NSW, approximately 1 hour east of Canberra. Braidwood is a lovely heritage town with all the amenities you need whilst maintaining a friendly country feel.

Our mission at Capital Chemist Braidwood is to improve each person’s health and wellbeing. We are a forward facing pharmacy, with non-dispensing pharmacists on the floor to assist with patient needs. Capital Chemist Braidwood offers a large range of professional services, including (but not limited to!) vaccination, sleep apnoea services, medication reviews and compression garment fitting. We are proud to be active participants in the NSW Expanded Scope of Practice trial, already providing Urinary Tract Infection and Oral Contraceptives prescribing services.

Capital Chemist Braidwood is pleased to offer our intern pharmacists an exemplary pre-registration year, working alongside your preceptor and with a personalised intern training support program (in addition to your mandatory ITP). We offer an above award wage, a training and relocation package, to the value of $10,000, and reimbursement of your intern training program provided through the Australian College of Pharmacy upon completion.

Intern pharmacists are eligible for Intern Training Allowance to assist with costs incurred in completing ITP, e.g. travel to ITP workshop days.

There is the potential for ongoing future employment for the right candidate.

– Recent graduate from an accredited Pharmacy program in Australia
– Provisional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (upon completion of tertiary study)
– Enthusiasm for innovation, patient-centred care and community health
– A willingness to relocate to a rural area, or travel from Canberra.

Locally owned and operated community pharmacy located within a medical building along with other allied health services. Our primary focus is on customer service in all aspects of community pharmacy.
About The Role:
We have an immediate opportunity for an Intern Pharmacist to join our team fulltime. You will be required to work 38 hours per week.
Your duties will include:
– The efficient dispensing of medications on Fred Dispense
– Providing counselling as required to customers
– Opening and closing procedures
– Promote generic conversion and our products
– Stock control
