Intern Positions

Brentwood Pharmacy is looking for an Intern Pharmacist to join our team at the end of July or early August.
We are a busy suburban pharmacy. Our intern works with multiple pharmacists, DA’s and pharmacy assistants to optimise the healthcare of our local community and aged care facilities.

You will be exposed to general pharmacy services, DAAs, vaccinations, CPOP and other extended scope services. Hours can be slightly flexible if needed (but would need to cover a minimum of 30 hours/week)

You will need to have, or be in the process of obtaining, provisional AHPRA registration. You need to be an Australian resident or have the right to work in Australia (sponsorship is not available).

Position Available: Intern Pharmacist

We are seeking an intern pharmacist to join our small coastal town pharmacy in Denmark, WA. Located 45km from Albany and about 5 hours south of Perth, Denmark is renowned for its beautiful beaches and was the filming location for the movie “Breath.”

About the Role:
– Location: Denmark, WA
– Work Environment: Join a team of four qualified pharmacists with diverse experience in a customer-focused setting.
– Responsibilities: Extensive customer interaction and counselling, supporting regular customers with their health needs.
– Working Hours: Includes working every other Saturday.

Requirements:
– Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (to be completed prior to starting the internship)
– Provisional registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
– Enrolment in a Pharmacy Intern Training Program before commencement
– Strong communication skills
– Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
– Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and able to take instruction
– Commitment to customer health and well-being
– Legal eligibility to live and work in Australia
